There was a picnic table and fire pit, plus a level gravel tent pad. I don't know if all sites have the same kind of pad or not. Most seemed to have plenty of breathing space, although that did vary a bit by site.

Views from our campsite were stunning, and the same would be true of a few other sites. Very close to Camp Bird Road, the campground road has a pulloff adjacent to the creek which is perfect for a picnic.

The port-a-potties are close to the far south end of the campground, which means they are quite inconvenient to campers at the north end, especially considering the rough road. We never actually used them.

Super pretty clean and friendly. Highly recommended

Sites cannot be reserved, and good luck finding an available one during free weekend.

Great experience great host and a bear. That's camping.

Believe it when it says a high clearance vehicle is required. 2WD is perfectly acceptable, but some of the potholes are quite deep and would spell trouble for a sedan. Our campsite was at the far north end of the campground, and our 06 Pathfinder did just fine, even in 2WD mode;v loaded down with heavy cargo, though, some sections required skill and finesse to navigate.

I stayed at Angel Creek Campground with my wife and three sons for two nights last week. Arriving on a Sunday evening, we were fortunate that one of the only two open campsites was just perfect for us. The other one was dinky.

Campground hosts were awesome if you love wildlife bears especially this is your spot .

Great place for a picnic and to relax
